Tom, a lifelong resident of St. Charles, has been married for over 50 years and has seven children. The Wapelhorst family has had roots in St. Charles for generations. Tom owns and operates a successful family owned business, Walters Jewelry, Inc., located in St. Charles since 1925. A member of the Authority board since 2004, Tom’s dedication and commitment to St. Charles County brings immeasurable knowledge and passion to the St. Charles County Convention & Sports Facilities Authority board.
Tim served as an elected official starting in the Missouri House of Representatives in 1988 until 2000; serving as the Chairman of the Budget Committee from 2000 to 2002; and as a Missouri Senator elected in 2004 until 2013. He currently serves on the St. Charles County TIF Commission along with the Authority Board. Tim has been a member of the IBEW Local 1 for 40 years and currently works for the St. Louis Electrical Connection IBEW/NECA. Tim and his wife Lisa have 2 children and 3 grandchildren living in St. Charles County for the past 10 years.
Paul is an attorney with Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale, P.C. Mr. Woody is an active member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, the American Bar Association Forum on Franchising, and the International Franchise Association. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Clubs of St. Charles County and a former member of the St. Charles County Merit System Commission. Paul makes his home in St. Charles County with his wife Christine and their two sons.
Fred is a lifelong resident of St. Charles County and a retired small business owner. Fred served for both the Missouri House of Representatives and as a Missouri Senator for 20 years. He is a member of Knights of Columbus and St. Charles Kiwanis. Fred played a role in the legislation that made the St. Charles Convention Center possible and, as a member of the Authority board since 2006, also played an intricate role in making the St. Charles Convention Center the economic impact success it is. Fred and his wife Rose have one daughter, 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Jerry, born and raised in St. Charles, is dedicated to serving his community. Jerry currently serves on the Lindenwood University Board of Directors and a founding member of St. Charles GoodFellas, a non-for-profit. He is also the Chairman of the Board and owner of Corporate Group, Inc. with his two daughters. Corporate Group, Inc. leases and manages commercial/ residential properties they own or have ownership in, located in St. Charles and Warren Counties and Lake of the Ozarks along with residential development lots in Warren County and Colorado. Jerry is passionate to help continue the growth in his hometown and continues to be an advocate for many non-for-profits in St. Charles County. Jerry and his wife Ruth reside in St. Charles along with his three children, stepson and six grandchildren.
