RFP / Future New Projects
On behalf of the St. Charles County Convention and Sports Facilities Authority, Sports Facilities Companies is issuing a request for proposals for an exciting partnership opportunity that would bring a new sports tourism venue to St. Charles County.
Over the last eight months the Authority has worked with the Sports Facilities Companies, the leader in sports facility advisory, development, and management services to establish early market feasibility, a recommended facility size, scope and opinion of cost as well a detailed financial, economic impact and room night forecast for the project.
This project is expected to be a powerful economic engine for the county, driving significant non-local visitation and direct spending to the marketplace as well as incremental ancillary retail and commercial development, while at the same time providing increased access to sport, health and wellness.
Attached you will find the RFP along with the facility recommendations and findings from the Sports Facilities Companies. Additionally, you are invited to two presentations/meetings that will be hosted on May 30 and June 4, see below for details:
